Surely he is jesting??

To the Editor:

The silent majority spoke as loud as war on Election Day, and its message was clear: no retreat and no surrender. Core values and determined leadership carried the day as Americans flatly rejected the cynicism and destructive policies of those on the left. Common sense was clearly too much to overcome as Democrats sank beneath the weight of Michael Moore and the social elitism that has come to define their party.

Our president received both validation and vindication and should spend every dime of his well-earned political capital over the next four years.

President Bush is a statesman of the highest order, and our country is safer as a result of his outstanding leadership. Right man, right time - right turn ahead!

6. Clearly not worried about the NASCAR Dads votes anymore.
:) Sorry, I haven't had my first cup of coffee yet, and just felt that needed to be said.

2. example of non-reality based worldview
that dominates Bush regime and their blind followers.

Reality'll catch up with them eventually, but in the meantime it's gonna be a long hard slog.

3. And so they turn their disdain for others inward to their countrymen
seeing them as the enemy.... how quaint. These are some very sick people... but not to worry, they will reap what they are sowing.

Why is the writer then using jargon from "the left" to make his case and failing to acknowledge the state he's writing from went for Kerry?
