1. we're living in a very very different world than four years ago
and we've made it that way.

Those same soldiers who were in the gunships shooting women and children trying to escape the city are coming home to a neighborhood near you.

Will someone explain to me again why we should support those troops? I can't rationalize it.

I certainly don't support the war or its conduct. I just want them to come home, now.

3. Don't blame every one of the soldiers
The ones who shot at innocent civilians and knew they were innocent civilians are the ones who should be punished as well as those who think it's okay to torture prisoners. This isn't supposed to be 1968. We're not supposed to have Lt. William Calleys among our men anymore, but I guess past lessons are easier forgotten than learned. This war is going so wrong.

4. The absurdity of this war
. . . is that they feel a need to level the Iraqi population in order to bring them "democracy." It's astounding how little this administration seeks to know about the people of Iraq.
