Forget about the Iraq nukes issue. It is not the main problem.
Once again the news entertainment networks distract us ( http://tvnewslies.org/html/distraction.html ) from the real issues facing our nation and the world.

The current focus on the one sentence in the SOTU speech is not the real issue. The real issue or I should say the real lie has to do with the fact that America has been told that invading Iraq was part of the war on terror. This is the big lie ladies and gentlemem.

1. There were no known links between Iraq and Al Quaeda - http://tvnewslies.org/html/al_quaeda_links.html
2. It was not about the WMDs. - http://www.rcnv.org/rcnv/archives/hermangoeringrecruiting.htm
3. The Bush/PNAC administration had plans to invade Iraq dating back to the late 90s. - http://tvnewslies.org/html/smoking_gun.html
4. The entire terror crisis is a load of crap. - http://tvnewslies.org/html/terror_myth.html
5 Do you want to know why we are there? - Look into Dick Cheney's energy policy meeting notes. http://tvnewslies.org/html/cheney_s_secrets.html. I am sure you will find plans to acquire Iraqi oil and plans to build a pipeline in Afghanastan.

Do you acutually think that there is more terror activity today than there was prior to 9/11 or are we just hearing about it so that we remain frightened? (http://www.rcnv.org/rcnv/archives/hermangoeringrecruiting.htm) I think the latter. I would love to see statistics on threats and chatter now as compared to 5 years ago.

We are being duped every day on every issue and it is the fault of the TV News Networks.

When 23% of the nation thinks that WMDs were used against us in Iraq who's fault is this?
When over 50% of the nation thinks that Iraq was responsible for 9/11 who's fault is this?
When we dump French wine into the street because we do not know that in the past 20 years France used the UNSC veto 3 times while we, the US used it 31 times who's fault is this?

IT IS THE FAULT OF THE MEDIA! Real information is available in print, although you have to search around for it; but it is the TV news networks (http://tvnewslies.org/html/the_networks.html) that misinform us and distract us daily!

Where is the outrage?

1. It may well be the "nail"!!!!
The "nail" that lost the war? At least the media is going after this story as never before. Remember why Clinton was impeached? It was over a "lie". I have as much contempt for our TV news media as you. But now they are on this story keep them focussed. Scatter shots won't do it.

2. No question, Jester
This one detail is not the main issue. But there has to be a way to pierce the fog of the mass media Big Lie. One way to do it is with small details that people can understand.

I think getting across the fact that the Admin. was putting out lies in official statements to take the nation to war is important.

I excpect this to be a very long process, based on a big pile of very small details. There is time here to change the climate before the 2004 election.

The Niger deal is not going to bring him down. It's just one little crack in the wall.

(And the ONE BILLION DOLLAR A WEEK Iraq problem is not going away.)
