How did Chimp cut his face again?
Edited on Tue Jan-13-04 10:49 AM by Timefortruth
He is on CNN now with the Canadian PM and the camera keeps zooming in on a cut covered with makeup, any guesses?

Pretzel OD again? Maybe Pickles will keep them locked up from now on.

It explains the puffy,delirious state he has been in lately, pretzel withdraw, it is one of the hardest habits to break.

10. Eczema?
My face breaks out in patches when I'm sick, upset etc. and if I scratch 'em, they look like cuts or sores etc. Maybe he's on some sort of steroids when he breaks out, too. I imagine he's always on the brink of, or in one, or recovering from an outbreak given the crap he's been shoveling for three years.

11. Bush and his face: Omen of the Old Man of the Mountain
Well, since you mentioned "face," that's the perfect opening for me to re-post my facial observation:

May 3, 2003 -- high up on the flank of Cannon Mountain in Franconia Notch, NH -- the Old Man of the Mountain lost his face - literally - the day after Bush pulled his pilot-with-a-codpiece stunt on the aircraft carrier Abe Lincoln ("Mission Accomplished").

I was struck by the sequence of events. Bush prances on Abe Lincoln deck, the noble Old Man loses face immediately thereafter. WTF?

Bush Prances Carrier Deck in Flight Suit - May 2, 2003
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/2993415.stm

Old Man story - May 3, 2003:
http://gonewengland.about.com/cs/nhhistory/l/bloldmanofmtn.htm

For NH -- and all who had ever seen him -- the collapse of the granite face was a First Class tragedy -- for the Old Man was a symbol of honesty, dignity, and honor -- and he seemed eternal.

I always thought of the Old Man's profile as embodying the same qualities as Old "Honest Abe" Lincoln, whose profile is so familiar to us from the penny. So I was deeply saddened to see him "lose face," and could not help but note that it came right after Bush pulled that bald-faced PR stunt on the deck of our nation's Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier.

After lying to America, our soldiers and the world, what right did Bush have to celebrate himself and "Declare Victory"? Hundreds of our soldiers have died and been wounded since that day, not to mention the ongoing misery for their families at home and the families in Iraq.

At the time I took this monumental loss of face in the Granite State as a sign that the appointee-in-chief was disgracing himself, comporting himself without honor.

After all, as we now know the Iraq war is based completely on BushCo fabrications, and Iraq had no connection to 9/11. This is a war of aggression and conquest. That's why our young men and women are dying over there -- it has nothing to do with national defense or our true honor.

Today, now that I have read Sevethson's posting in GD about the R candidacy of John Buchanan in the NH primary, I see things in a different light. I see the loss of face of the Old Man of the Mountain as an Omen that G.W. Bush may well lose face before the voters of NH.

Will the truth emerge? Will Bush be unmasked for who he really is before or during the NH primary? We shall see.

Here's the DU thread discussing the R. candidacy of john Buchanan against G. W. Bush in the NH primary.

His campaign -- and his research -- are sincere, and worthy of every citizen's consideration.

15. Laura did it...
Haha! That is great. It looks like a scratch...now his publicist would probably blame it on the cat (he has a cat doesn't he?) but I suspect that Laura did it.

She finally got sick of his drug induced, alcoholic philandering ways and struck out against old George. I wonder what SHE looks like today?

24. I don't think so. She is perfectly happy sitting at "home"

and supporting her "man" (cause her man gots the money and she likes the things all that money brings her.) She is a whore for the Bush money and name, as much as any prostitute can be. In all the photos I have seen over the past three years of this "couple" there is absolutley nothing in any of them that convey a feeling of love between them.

Laura is the quintessential old maid who married into money and then dropped out of life that she was not contributing to anyway, in order to be pampered as a princess for propagating the Bush genes.

She performed--she had children!!
Twins!! (girls but nevertheless, a carrier of the Bush genes)

woweeeeee and goody for her!!! Now, she can just sit back and eat candy, smoke and avail herself of the Bush family wealth. What a life eh?

For that birthing of two at once carriers of the Bush lacking in intelligence gene, she, vacant andprobably on drugs, thinks she deserves a life of priviledge for ever after and she probably also has become used to the elitism the Bush family name bestows upon her--no matter if George doesn't give a shit about her--she gots the money honey and she gots the time ans she will take it at our expense!

AFter George is ousted she will just retire to her normal Stepford mode and screw George in any way she can---passively of course! She can retire after 2004 to the barren and the dry gulch of the Crawford spread, 1, 600 acres of it, and just fade away in luxury according to that which she has married. Laura will die as shallow as she lived.

13. It's the Cipro he's been taking since 9/11/01 - Read Below
Cipro side-effects/warnings

WARNINGS: All quinolones cause erosion of cartilage in weight-bearing joints.(Didn't bush* have a knee mri recently?) They may cause convulsions, increases intracranial pressure ('nuff said), toxic psychosis ('nuff said), CNS stimulation (i.e.nervousness, lightheadedness, confusion, hallucinations) ('nuff said). Should not be used in anyone with seizure disorders, or cerebral arteriosclerosis. There have been deaths due to anaphylactic shock, and cardiovascular collapse. Also occurring are tingling, itching, facial swelling ('nuff said), and difficult breathing.
DISCONTINUE at the first sign of a rash ('nuff said) or any hypersensitivity. Pseudomembranous colitis has been reported from nearly all antibacterial agents (mild to life-threatening), and anyone taking Cipro having diarrhea should immediately check with his prescribing physician. Antibacterial drugs may kill off normal intestinal flora, resulting in an overgrowth of Clostridia. It produces a toxin that is a primary cause of "antibiotic-associated- colitis".
Achilles and other tendon ruptures requiring surgical repair, resulting in prolonged disability can occur from quinolone use. Discontinue Cipro, and consult your physician, if you experience pain, inflammation, or tendon rupture. (Again, MRI?)

Dress for Hoped-For Success
By GINIA BELLAFANTE

Was Howard Dean ever really regarded as the Birkenstock candidate? That seems a fuzzy memory now, six days before the Iowa caucuses, as the Democratic front-runner has disported himself day in and day out on the campaign trail in a manner that has failed to conjure up images of Buffalo Springfield albums or the graphics on a pint of Ben & Jerry's.

<snip>

Representative Richard A. Gephardt has availed himself of the working man's cloth and the golfer's pullover. He might turn up in a union jacket if he's addressing members of the International Association of Machinists or speaking at a V.F.W. hall. And he might opt for a sweater and khakis in intimate settings.

<snip>

"Middle America" is not the message instantly conveyed by the V-neck sweaters favored by Joseph I. Lieberman, who has been concentrating his campaign efforts in New Hampshire. Senator Lieberman has appeared in the sort with necklines high up to the collarbone. It is disconcertingly fashion-forward for a man of his devout faith and seriousness

<snip>

It is hard to recall when the sweater has been the subject of so much attention in a presidential race. Last week Gen. Wesley K. Clark bought a green wool crew neck at an L. L. Bean outlet in Concord, N.H., while a team of reporters waited outside. When he put on an argyle sweater, also in New Hampshire, political commentators balked at his misguided effort to lure female voters in a garment that calls to mind a children's television show host. Playing to his audience too literally, he switched to a sweatshirt that simply read College.

28. It was a BADGER! This explains EVERYTHING!
"And in the initial stages of the administration, as you might remember, we were dealing with desert badger or fly-overs and fly-betweens and looks, and so we were fashioning policy along those lines."

No wonder he got a little confused, responding to the O'Neill thing. He'd been attacked by a BADGER!

Phew--thank goodness that's explained now. I was starting to lose confidence in Our Glorious President!
