President Putzhead's August vacation=challenge to the press?
Apparently, from a thread in LBN, Dumbya will be taking his traditional month-long sabbatical in August, despite the monumental problems facing the country.

Maybe it's time for a concerted pressure campaign on the media (who lately have been slightly abandoning their fealty); while the President takes time off, you fuckers do your job!

There are a lot of loose threads to be connected right now. Meanwhile, I can't imagine that any of these so-called journalists enjoy being stuck on that freakin pig farm for a month. Maybe it's time to pressure the journalists to boycott the vacation "coverage" and do their actual jobs instead. I mean, what kind of monumental story are they going to miss by not going to Crawfors? Another heroic shot of Shrubya clearing brush? And for that, they'll endure a month of that godawful Texas heat?

I implore my fellow DUers to contact the media, and tell them to ditch the coverage of the vacation, and employ their energies instead to the stories that deserve coverage! Tell them not to be such PR lackies!

Forget Crawford. Nothing there but a dumbass "rancher" who thinks he's president.

They are stuck in a hotel in Waco for the duration. They are VERY bored. And they are fairly accessible, due to it being a small town. I would guess that if you sent a package of material to a correspondent at the hotel with a nice personal note, it might get a bit of attention.

4. Great idea!
We need to compile our BBV and other things. Send them along with a few goodies, maybe a little booze and they won't be able to keep from looking and talking. Good idea.

9. Nice that the "president" indulges in a month off
while the working poor, the class his ilk generally views with contempt, works multiple jobs just to stay afloat - with no holidays on the horizon.
