of that crook, Nixon. History has proven him right. He is an American hero to me.

3. Sorry I was so late, he was done about when I got the post off,
I miss him, Gary Hart, Wellstone, Humphrey, ...where have all the statesmen gone?

4. I loved it when he spoke about WWII vets and their patriotism
including saying sometimes the highest form of patriotism was to question the government.

I also liked it when he said he wished Cheney or Rumsfeld or Bush had combat experience - they wouldn't have been so quick to start the war. (My dad always said that people who have seen combat are less likely to think war is a good idea)

I'm so glad my first vote for president was for McGovern.
