The myth of the populist stock market

Most Americans have more debt on their credit cards than money in their mutual funds.

Our candidates should be talking this up when mentioning how crappy the bush economy is

1. Haven't heard a "peep" on this one. But, most campaign managers know

that's a "No, NO!" It would be like lecturing their possible voters reminding them that they've "overstretched."

Don't expect to ever hear this on the campaign trail. It's a "downer subject" that goes to folks personal behavior.....and points out how Dems and Repugs hand in hand have allowed "easy credit" to rule our lives papering over the real problems in our economy.

Just my 2 cents.

Can't tell the sheeple they're personally broke. But ya could tell 'em that * has just about ruined the market. That it would have been @ 15,000 if America hadn't lost so many jobs in the last 2 years. That because * has gone on a deficit blooming, borrow and spending spree, America is a whole lot deeper in debt.
