God Guts and Guns. I borrowed those words from Eddie Ruff (www.talkinghand.com)after reading his piece in "The Blackboard." It was a sarcastic piece about his New Year's resolution to become a right winger. Eddie if you frequent this board. Hi! Glad I found you.

Imagine a leftie underground type paper in this cesspool of conservatism, Bakersfield, CA.

I went to the library today in Bakersfield and found a stack of newspapers named "The Blackboard." It reminds me of the underground papers from the 60's! The paper is full of the kinds of stuff we talk about here all the time.

If you live in the Bakersfield area be sure to pick up a copy of "The Blackboard."

Since I moved to this area a few years ago I found nothing locally to read other than right wing propaganda. I didn't know there was such a thing as leftie papers anymore.
