2. It certainly wouldn't hurt!! Ridicule is the most effective political
weapon of all. Unfortunately, SNL is no longer reliable for us; they did great damage to Gore in 2000.

4. Is Jon Stewart not the person who is filling that role?
I expect to see him become very prominent very soon

6. I agree
and I saw a study this week that said that many people get their news from alternate news sources...
Such as Jon Stewart..

8. I don't consider Jon Stewart's show 'news'......
Edited on Fri Jan-16-04 08:01 PM by BigDaddyLove
to me it's satire; you get the same 'news' from NBC or CBS, only difference is that Stewart makes fun of everything.

7. the best moment of murphy brown
was before the '92 election and danny quayle was giving an interview on his front steps in dc and a crowd of people had gathered on the corner and were shouting "4 more weeks... 4 more weeks" which clearly could be heard while he was talking. priceless. but that was when we still had a free press.

10. Then watch WHOOPI!!!!
Tuesday nights,8:30 EST. EVERY single episode has at least one stab at Bush, one at the Repubs, and one at compassionate conservatism. Worth watching!
