Peter Jennings talking to Kerry about SOTU
I don't know why Kerry gets this air time, while other candidates don't. But at least Peter is asking some hard questions regarding his record of supporting Bush policies.

1. Just heard it...
Thought Kerry started off slowly but he built up. Liked to hear somebody talking about bush appointing Pickering on MLK's birthday. Now they are talking to Veterans who thought bush was great! I feel like I live in an alternate universe. What are these people thinking!

2. Once upon a time I had some respect for Peter Jennings. Not anymore.
He's just a pandering asshole like the rest of them. And this VFW thing. As long as these old coots are praising Bush*, they let them talk. But let one of them start talking about how "mars can wait", and they cut him off.


Okay, Kirksville. No economic recovery? A little reality seeping in maybe.

That record is the most significant reason why Kerry shouldn't be the nominee.

4. So Kerry DID support the invasion (within limits) and DOES support
certain aspects of the Patriot Act, etc. How is that NOT Bush-lite?
