I am so damned annoyed at c-span lately.. I know that we have a republican administration, but ^%$#~!@*&^%$# is THEIR opinion the ONLY one that is worth hearing??? Come ON c-span...

When they feel the need to "discuss" something that a Democrat (or the candidates are doing), they seem to find some right-leaning person or group to come on and "discuss" them, and then of course after the numbnuts speech last night, they feel the need to have MORE righties on to "explain" it?????

It irritates me to no end, that they have given up even the "appearance" of evenhandedness..

And if you're going to take a more all-inclusive look at human history, how about polyandry in India and Tibet? Not to mention extensive examples of polygamous societies throughout the world? Think of China with all those concubines. The Yanomamo in south America with their multiple wives. Arabic societies where men could have four wives. Heck, nowadays, rich and powerful men have multiple wives too -- they just marry and divorce them one at a time. How many rich men are still on their first wives?

The idea of 1 man, 1 woman may actually be the exception over the last 6,000 years.
