Is anyone familiar with Bushvote.com?

I have been getting emails over the last few days from a guy who represents a site called "bushvote.com". He has asked me to cross-link to him from my web page. Several problems with that:

1. I don't have a web page.

2. He is emailing to an address I never use for personal or political correspondence.

3. A search of the net for "bushvote.com" turns up dozens of message board entries in dozens of separate forums saying the same thing - "hey, check out this site, bushvote.com, it's really great and ..." and so on. Looks like someone is trying to pump up a hit count for some reason.

4. Each of the emails I received have been from a different sender but 99% the same message - "I noticed you post on the message board and..." but he doesn't say which message board. And my profiles on boards do not contain the email address he's sending to.


Anybody know anything about this?

Different senders, same message. I've been putting them in my Spam and not going to the website, 'cause I don't know the sender.

I'm surprised DU doesn't get spammed by more of them, frankly.

I went to the site; looks pretty unprofession. White on black is eye-searing.
