Bush Touts Trickle Down In Rib Joint
In reply to Gregory's Q about Homeland Security, The SOB takes the opportunity to sear the benefits of money in the pockets of the wealthy into the minds of the working class. Way to stay on message, you rogue bandit, you!

THE PRESIDENT: I need some ribs.

Q Mr. President, how are you?

THE PRESIDENT: I'm hungry and I'm going to order some ribs.

Q What would you like?

THE PRESIDENT: Whatever you think I'd like.

Q Sir, on homeland security, critics would say you simply haven't spent enough to keep the country secure.

THE PRESIDENT: My job is to secure the homeland and that's exactly what we're going to do. But I'm here to take somebody's order. That would be you, Stretch -- what would you like? Put some of your high-priced money right here to try to help the local economy. You get paid a lot of money, you ought to be buying some food here. It's part of how the economy grows. You've got plenty of money in your pocket, and when you spend it, it drives the economy forward. So what would you like to eat?

Q Right behind you, whatever you order.

THE PRESIDENT: I'm ordering ribs. David, do you need a rib?

Q But Mr. President --

THE PRESIDENT: Stretch, thank you, this is not a press conference. This is my chance to help this lady put some money in her pocket. Let me explain how the economy works. When you spend money to buy food it helps this lady's business. It makes it more likely somebody is going to find work. So instead of asking questions, answer mine: are you going to buy some food?

Q Yes.

THE PRESIDENT: Okay, good. What would you like?

Q Ribs.

a little more tricle down instruction eclipses the importance of the primary race..............

10. Question - was there any footage of him actually paying for anything?
I remember a lot of flak in 1999/2000 about Hillary having lunch/dinner at some eatery. Not being in a situation where she was responsible for picking up the tab for 8 years (being First Lady and having few restaurant meals), she did not leave a tip.

LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS of flak about how she ignored the "working class stiff" who served her meal.

Of course, the RW "angels" showered her with "tips", and she got her (pre-tax) 15 minutes of fame.

SO, I was wondering. Did anybody see W pay for the meal? The repukes set the standard, of course, they won't follow it.

STUPID LYING ARROGANT BASTARD! I watched that clip on Oberman. It was disgusting! He didn't even look at the employee's hand who he shook upon entering the rib joint. He has such disdain for us lowly 'Muricans! Great person too share a beer with my ass!

22. it was nauseating
Talk about not looking pResidential! This goon slouching with his arm draped over some woman, looking and acting likkered up, babbling about ribs and the economy. Just unbelieveable. I'm sure Matthews will swoon over it tonight, between airing Dean's Monday night clip every 25 seconds.

24. You guy remember the SNL skit
featuring Phil Hartman as Bill Clinton stopping off in a McDonalds during a jogging session?

Clinton: See these McNuggets? Pretend they are assistance to a poor country. We want to see them go straight to the people, and not the war lords.
