Time for the Massachusets legislature to act: Kerry's Senate seat
If Kerry is elected president Democrats will lose a Senate seat in a safe Democratic state to the appoitment powers of Republican governor Mitt Romney. That cannot be allowed to happen. Democrats have veto proof majorities in the Massachusetts legislature. They should pass a law compelling the governor to appoint a senator of the same party as that of the vacating senator.

1. Im not sure
I don't think it will matter, as much as i would like Kerry to win if he is nominated, we dont stand a chance with him. IMHO

4. Silber
Yes, I know who that old fart is, but he's probably too old to be in the Senate now.
