bush's military record
Peter Jennings and Tim Russert, among others, seem concerned about Michael Moore's statements about bush's military record and the "truth." I suggest the gentlemen take their wealth of journalistic resources to the white house to find out the truth about bush's military record. It is apparent that they will swallow whatever karl offers them. Since members of the media have breached the subject, its time for rove and gillespie to take advantage and make BUSH'S MILITARY RECORD AN ISSUE.

1. I think the fact Jennings repeated the question twice to Clark
is a good sign they (the media) want to see Bush squirm on this.
Bravo to and and all questioners.

2. An Idea
They say they have investigated the claim and found nothing. Apparently if you can't find records of Bush being there that doesn't mean he wasn't there -- is that the nothing that they are speaking of?

Send e-mail to these people and ask them to open their own investigation and then report the findings. Why can they send people to cover Jack-o, Cobe and other crap but can not fill a fifteen minute segment investigating this charge. Why is that HHHMMMmmmmmmm...

3. as much as I would like to see Bush roasted on his military record...
...I would really prefer Jennings, Russert et. al. spend their time investigating why he lied to us about WMD and why we have corrupt, politically connected corporations running the show over there while our men and women are getting killed and injured every day in Iraq.

4. Agreed, but
the networks have the recources, funds and time to do all of those things. This isn't about ability to do, its about priorities.

5. Wasn't a reward offered?
Didn't somebody offer a $5000 reward (or some amount) if anybody could provide convincing evidence that Bush actually did show up for duty in Alabama? I believe the reward is still unclaimed.

6. You can forget that.........
they seem to think they're at Ski Resort to have fun. They should be embarrassed to call themselves journalists. They should call themselves "Hosts" cause that's all they are. And bad ones at that! They're all up there in NH acting like this all a big party for them.

Checking on AWOL'S record would be work and it might make the administration mad at them. And they are scared to death of them. GRRRRR
