This is not just a messy divorce; there is suggestion of bribery.

But what I don't get is the writer's implication that Billy Carter and Roger Clinton are far more troubling. Excuse me--my memory is hazy--but how are the alleged corruption and unethical dealings described in this article in ANY way comparable to the problems of two guys known primarily for a bit of overindulgence in alcohol and in one case, vague concerns about discussions with people in Libya?????

But his messy divorce has produced some eye-opening disclosures. Among them: He had sex with women who showed up uninvited at his hotel rooms in Asia; he had an affair and may have fathered a child out of wedlock; and he stands to make millions from businesses in which he has little expertise — including a computer-chip company managed in part by the son of former Chinese president Jiang Zemin.

It seems certain opportunities tend to present themselves when your name is Neil Bush.

For his part, Bush defended the fees he has received for consulting jobs. But he gave little insight into whether the women who offered him sex in Hong Kong and Taiwan were perhaps paid by mysterious benefactors. (continued)"

Billy Carter and Roger Clinton simply don't rise to the level of wrong-doing of Neil Bush. Not to mention all the rest of the Bush clan.

Billy Carter was a buffoon who liked his beer and was showered with media attention when his big brother went into politics. Another sister was a holy roller of some kind. Carter's mother went into the Peace Corps when she was something like in her 60's. I don't believe a single one of them served jail time.

Roger Clinton was picked up on a drug charge when his brother was Governor, and Bill did NOT pull strings to keep baby brother out of jail. Roger did his time and has lived a fairly clean life ever since. Again, one essential problem brother Roger has is unwanted media attention simply because of having a famous brother.

I think the only one of the Bush siblings who has not been arrested for something or another is the one sister. And every one of the second generation has had trouble with the law.

Amazing how Republicans tout family values they themselves clearly don't uphold.

First, with the prevalence of STD's in Asia, especially among the sex industry workers, did Neil take any precautions and has he been checked out by a doctor lately? Second, given that there have been recent, and not so recent, reports of minors running rampant in the Asian sex trade, would that be the ongoing enticement for Neil to continue his Asian visits? Does he like his partners illegaly young?

All in all, like most everything to do with all of the Bushs private lives, this report makes me want to :puke:

Here are some stomach-flipping excerpts of Sharon Bush's attorney, Marshall Davis Brown, mercilessly grilling President Bush's wayward little brother:

Bush: "I had sexual intercourse with perhaps three or four, I don't remember the exact number, women, at different times. In Thailand once, I have a pretty clear recollection that there was one time in Thailand and in Hong Kong."

Billy Carter got arrested for public indecency for peeing on a building, I seem to recall -- that was the big 'peccadillo' I remember about him.

Neil gets herpes from an Asian prostitute.
