I'm new to this, so I don't know if this is something that has been discussed in depth before. I found it interesting that the anthrax went to the talking heads of the News Media and the Democratic leadership of the House and Senate and no one else. I believe that this cowed them into submission, which was why it was done. (No one else, other than a few postal workers, who were collateral damage, received anthrax and nothing has been done to "find" who did this crime). Neither the news agencies nor the Congress have been doing their duty!

The White House just held a meeting with all these talking heads & editors/managers and owners of all the news media companies in which they told them, that they could not report "without White House approval" any items on Mad Cow Outbreaks, Anthrax or any other biological spreads, Nuclear Spills, ect.

I wondered why Peter Jennings brought out, on national TV, the news (to most American's) that someone mentioned Bush being a deserter. Most people did not see or hear about M. Moore's introduction in which he mentioned the word deserter. The question could have been asked of General Clark, without mentioning the "D" word. Might Mr. Jennings actually be a Patriot? Was this his shot across the bow, that he won't, (from now on) be muzzled by this Administration?

If so, it is a beginning.....One can hope!

I had completely forgotten about the reporter. Thanks for pointing that out! Another one who helped make the point of "Don't mess with us"! Wasn't there something in the news recently about Barbara Bush saying something about they would not tolerate anyone saying anything bad about their family? Worse than no stories, about any of the grandchildren of Bush I, is no prison time for any of them. If our grandchildren were drug users or under-age drunks, they would be doing time!
