bin Laden is probably the only thing that would distract the public and a press that may have located it's missing backbone.
Terror alerts haven't worked in over a year and a 3rd 9-11 may prove to be a bad move.
What do you think, does Bush have to bring out his "October surprise" a little early?

That would give bush a nice boost for the NYC convention, when republicans come to dance on the graves of 3000 terror victims. It'd also be a convenient way to kill momentum for the recent Democratic nominee and give bush lots of terra points to use in the debates.

In October, bush could start the invasion of Syria if his campaign needs another shot in the arm.

My thought is, IF osama is under wraps and being saved for a "Surprise", (notice the headlines now of a new get osama military venture?)with all of the negative crap hitting the airwaves just the past two days and Kerry beating Bush in a poll, the Administration needs to get the upper hand and soon.
How can they do that? Waiting till Aug or later may be too late because these stories will "get legs" and take off.
