Strange bedfellows? Michael Savage calls for Bush's impeachment
After calling for the impeachment of President Bush over plans to legalize millions of illegal aliens, talk-radio star Michael Savage has taken out a full-page ad in the New York Times declaring millions of Americans support his view.

The ad features his new best-selling book, "The Enemy Within," published by WND Books, which contends America's biggest enemy is not al-Qaida, but "internal enemies" that threaten the nation's long-term survival.

3. Respectfully,
and not saying I agree with him, but Savage is pointing out the very real threat of domestic terrorism.

OT have you heard of Feltus and Krar?

The media wants to keep pounding the fear of foreign threats in to our brains but we've got big problems on our own soil.

11. Not really,
domestic terrorism is a serious subject, but Savage's latest book isn't about anything serious or realistic, it's about "beating back the tentacles of today's ever-expanding liberalism, which even now threatens to corrupt and ultimately destroy America's most cherished institutions."

4. Savage is just a straight-up loon
Really he's like a caricature of a right-winger more than anything else...I almost think that's somewhat deliberate on his part.

Did you know he used to be a big-time herbalist, travelled the pacific seeking out new plant cures?

He also was friendly with Allen Ginsberg...the poet...

He's one odd man.

6. Agreed...he's odd
I listen to him occasionally. He's funny in an acerbic sort of way. He's a complete narcissist.

7. friends with Ginsberg?????
He went on a rant one day about how Ginsberg (and others) are responsible for the mess the US is in today.

It all goes back to the 60s and liberals and questioning and anything else he can slam.

5. Savage is stirring a pot of shit
hoping everyone will take a good sniff to see whether it stinks. If it came out of any one of his orifices, you can bet it stinks to paranoid, selfish, hate-filled heaven.
