he or she.....cause that's the only agenda they had for 8 years of the last legally elected pres. i knew from the second Bill announced, that he would be visciously attacked and have tons of mud slung at him. and damnit, he took a lot of incoming and still stood there despite their zealotry and hatred of him for beating daddybush fair and square.

so whoever goes up against w., must be able to instantly throw back every attack against him/her in their faces and be able to withstand a brutal scrutiny of his whole life. the gop attack machinery is extremely effective. whoever it turns out to be had better be able to smash w in the debates and expose him as the fool/frontman he is.
and whoever it is, as long as it's not sleep inducers like gephardt or lieberman, had better be ready for a knock down drag out slugfest.

who among the current crowd has the temerity and guts to take on these demonic men?

2. I think that if we can win in 04
We should replace the pot smokers in prison with CEOs and PNAC supporters.

5. imprison the traitors
that would be a great start

otherwise, the civil war isn't going away - it'll likely get worse - the Nixon-Iran-Contra dudes are still doing their thing

the freepers will still be freeping, Rush will still be mushing, Karl will still be Machiavellianing, Richard Mellon Scaife will still play saboteur along with Lucianne ... all the other MWs will still be MWing, and the pukes on the Hill will continue their destructive ways in preventing progress in this country - we really haven't done much in the last 30 years ...

Democrat survives the onslaught facing our candidate will only have passed phase 1 ... evil forces will be at play after inaugeration 2005 ...

3. Kerry, Dean, and Kucinich
They can all take the attacks, fight back, and win.

4. Yep, their goal is to intimidate and demonize
The aim of the right wing is to hound, torment and harass anyone who isn't one of them, to try to drive the opposition out of politics and discourage anyone from even thinking about running against them. Ever Democratic candidate must be prepared not only to deal with all the Republican jeers and shit-slinging during the campaign season but to put up with four or eight years of whining and shrieking afterwards should they secure the Presidency. At every turn a Democratic President will have to be able to endure and brush aside the infantile tactics of the Republican Party and their paid talk-show puppets and shove them out of the way to make some real progress in this country. This person must be tough enough to disregard all the garbage that will be flung their way from the Republicans, who proved during the 90's that there is no sewer too low for them to crawl through in their neverending quest to bully everyone else into submission and have their way, no matter what.

That's why I'm backing Kerry, because he isn't going to put up with it. He won the Silver Star in Vietnam while these right-wing chickenhawk turds hid out in the States urging others to go in their place. The moment they start sniveling about his patriotism he will serve them a nice warm glass of "shut the hell up" and they will crawl, tail between their legs, back into the stink of the sewer. Kerry saw what the human garbage did to Max Cleland down in Georgia, and he'll throw it back in their faces.

6. Graham is kinda like Clinton in that way
I've noticed watching his talk show performances--he doesn't ever get rattled or bluster. He stays calm and then when he sharpens his voice, it actually has quite an effect.

He seems to be able to bring out the bluster in his opponent without blustering himself. Plus, he's got every fact at his fingertips and doesn't seem to have to search for answers.

He's a bit like that martial art (forget the name) where you take your opponent's strength and guide it and use it against him.
