Zell Miller to head President's Independent Commission?
it makes sense....5 repubs and Zell Miller. That commission would stonewall for years and eventually come to the conclusion that it was all the CIA and Bush was innocent.

1. I don't know
I don't need they need to stonewall 5 years. They stonewall one year and either he'll be out of office or a lame duck. Unless the comittee finds impeachable offenses, what ever they find will be irrelevant.

But I could be wrong.

3. I read...
Scowcrofts name mentioned...and that it would take 18 months to do their work...well into the next administration

If Bush gets re-elected I don't think he will care if his job approval is at 10%...He doesn't have to please anybody after elections

4. And that is what scares me the most.
Not facing another campaign, the past 3 years will look like "prosperity" for the middle and lower classes. EWWWW, the thought turns my stomach.
