Why Bush's "uh, WMD was the CIA's fault" doesn't wash

He presided over the single largest intelligence failure in the history of the country after Pearl Harbor. What the hell did he do to fix the CIA afterward? Nothing? Not one thing? Then why are we laying this at their feet?

Daschle BETTER damn well fight that whitewash "independent" commission Bush has announced he will appoint *himself*. Now is the time if there ever was one to fight this bastard and nail him down.

There will be no one in this congress that will support the "people" and the "constitution". I thought at one time, that this was a country where the people counted and where the constitution was almost a holy document. No more. I have been awakened to these twits who think of nothing but their own skins. That is why I am reluctant to support a Kerry , who has been entrenched entirerly too long in this farce.

They will only support their jobs and their raises and their prospects for re-election no matter who they have to to smear or ignore to do it, no matter how they have to spin and court big money to do it.

The system is broken all the way around.
