Freepers are getting scared
So many RW'ers are making so much noise about staying home on election day in November that the GOP and the other Bushbots are getting very scared. So they are starting to resort to what they do best. That is, play on fears.

That's what's being done in this article at FR:

<snip>
The Next Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States - Hillary Clinton?
vanity post | February 2, 2004 | HAL9000

A recent post on FreeRepublic suggested the novel theory that Conservatives would be better off if George W. Bush lost the election and a Democrat became president.

One response objected to that theory, claiming that if the Democrats win, the next Chief Justice of the Supreme Court would be Bill Clinton.

But, there is a real danger that a Democratic president would nominate Hillary Clinton as Chief Justice. She would be the #1 top candidate for the post among the party rank and file. There will be a huge outcry for her nomination among Democrats - and unlike her husband, there is no record of her ever being impeached or disciplined for misconduct as an attorney.
</snip>

So there you have it. The GOP Bushbots are playing on the worst fears of their own. You have to understand how much these people loathe Hillary. They are invoking all of their own worst nightmares.

They're scared, and (IMHO) rightfully so.

6. Anyone can be appointed to the Supreme Court
You don't have to be a judge. I don't think Earl Warren was.

5. Good!
Michael Moore could well become director of the FBI!

Al Franken might take over at Justice Department!

Jesse Jackson would make a really scary head of the Civil Rights Commision!

8. About time they got some fear into their souls
I've been pretty scared for about the past two years (I admit it, it took me a while to figure things out). Glad to have some company.
