TURN THE TEEVEES AND RAYDEE OHS OFF and think for YOURSELVES.

The hysteria is appalling on BOTH sides of the fence here! Stop falling for the ploys of entertainers desperate for attention and ratings.

The more you repeat their lies and spewage, the more credible they seem. So STOP it. Knock it off. Pretend they don't exist and STOP empowering ENTERTAINERS.

The kind of garbage that pollutes the airwaves - whether blather like Rush Limbaugh/Sean Hannity/Laura Ingraham/Anne Coulter/the rest of the automatons, the crap programming that passes for entertainment/music now or the constant barrage of fucking advertising - is why I rarely listen to the radio (music only; when the commercials come on the dial turns) and I don't watch TV at all. I dwell in my own media world; not the one pushed on people by ABC or MSNBC; my books, my CDs, my Internet sites, and movies of my choosing. I am not subjected to the onslaught of brainwashing propaganda designed to make us buy, buy buy, whether it be products or stupid political ideology crammed down our throats by paid GOP hacks.

I wish people would quit getting hot and bothered over the tantrums of the Hannitys and Limbaughs. These are paid mouthpieces of the Republican corporate interests, folks. If there was a bigger paycheck involved, they'd become liberals. They are shills for the right, pretending that the bullshit they're spewing is "mainstream" when they're just trying to program the ignorant masses into surrendering their thought processes. Their goal is to dupe and mislead the 98% of the population who get screwed by the GOP into serving the interests of the 2% who do benefit from the pro-pollution, pro-millionaire policies.

Because this is now a nation of "shock" journalism whereby outlandish and offensive publicity sells, these people will gleefully sink lower and lower and lower in their quest to keep squeezing the bucks out of their sponsors. Witness Anne Coulter's sudden embrace of Joseph McCarthy - all her other tired tactics aren't getting her much mileage, so she has to dig deeper into the sewer for another schtick. It means nothing and they believe in nothing, other than getting paid for spewing nonsense bought and paid for by their puppetmasters.
