The veil drops on MTP: Democracy is Over Folks
Edited on Mon Feb-09-04 07:24 AM by JCMach1
At least that was the impression Bush left me with. I had read the transcipt earlier, but it did not convey the tone of the interview. I finally got to view the replay on Orbit news this morning.

Bush left not even the slightest crack for democracy... it was all about him and HIS decision making. He's the one 'in-charge'...

He never mentions the American people, their well-being, or acknowleges their part in the political process.

There was no retreat here... The Repug push for a one-party state is on.

He wasn't even pretending anymore... giving lip service to Democracy.

It scared the hell out of me!

If people didn't see this, there is no hope for the FALL.

By far the most imminent threat to America right now is George Walker Bush.

3. Exactly!
The whole interview was about "I will not lose." The look on his face at that question was clear - lose? hahahahahahaha, you must be kidding. That's not an option.

This cabal has no intention of letting loose of the reigns of power. They have a grand plan and they have just begun to implement it. Go back and look at how many times he said "world" and not USA/America. Go back and look at how many times he talked about the voters/people.

The entire interview was laying out the grand plans for world domination by these fools.

5. It may also be setting the state for MIHOP or Wag the Dog
in the upcoming election year...

IE make a situation where people might psychologically want to be protected at all costs.

After this, I'm keeping the tinfoil hat on for awhile...:scared:

7. I don't think it's tinfoil at all
Edited on Mon Feb-09-04 08:02 AM by SaddenedDem
The question, though, is this.....

What if there's actually a power struggle going on at the White House right now? What if Shrub's minions have decided to get rid of Cheney and Cheney has no plans to go quietly? Where does Poppy come down if this power struggle exists between his puppeteers of Shrub and his son?

I have a feeling things are getting VERY nasty in the world of neocons vs. republicans.

I think we are at the edge of a major split in the republican party and MIHOP and/or wag the dog is the furthest thing from their mind.

11. We need a plan to mobilize AFTER Nov 5 for the next stolen election
I could see some states trying to pull a hustle and switch electors. They will try to confuse the vote counts and declare victory quickly this time. We are going to have to answer their "Brooks Brothers Rebels" with some real muscle.

6. This 'interview' wasn't FOR the American people...
Edited on Mon Feb-09-04 07:44 AM by Q
- Bush* did it to prop up his base and send a message to his supporters that the 'fix' was in for another four years. It's not much more complicated than that.

8. I would hope his
I will NOT lose quote would wake the opposition up to the clear and present danger of extreme rightwing controlled and created "voting" machines. This ought to be one of the biggest issues of this campaign.

9. Bu$h and the Neocons
area about to lose it. The jig is up, folks.

The interview was a disaster for W. What the neocons forget is that there are more of us, then there are of them and they've done a great job of pissing off everyone in the world.

Their days are numbered but they refuse to believe it. Meglomanics tend to be that way.

10. That is why we need a candidate who has the support of the military
Bush and his minions may have considered trying another coup if they thought the military would back them up. But that option may be off the table for them now?

12. nobody in the military supports Bush
My God, the disrespect he has shown them, the neglect and endangerment? The dead and wounded? You neednt worry about the troops backing him against their fellow citizens, especially when they are spread wafer thin over multiple conflicts and offshore bases. The National Guard, and Law Enforcement, on the other hand, is exactly what you need to beware of.

22. there are a lot of officers that support the bushgang

I posted an article (from Jane's I think) that said a good part of the officers were religious fundamentalists and went so far as to say our military is a fundamentalist military.

27. not predominantly and especially not in the rank and file
It is entirely a question of education and intelligence. I was certainly not referencing the brass, Im talking about the majority of the military and their families, who will NOT be voting for Bush, or shooting at their fellow countrymen.

16. also VERY telling (and frightening)
Edited on Mon Feb-09-04 12:33 PM by nostamj
his rationale for being re-elected had NOTHING to do with the American people!
Who can properly use American power in a way to make the world a better place...
shouldn't we be concerned about making America a better place? and how can he argue that he's done anything to make the world safer? SH in chains is pretty slim.

rather than repeating myself

get it right when talking to the Nation. Look for Gary Bauer to surface. He may not look manly but can he flip those Jacks.

as Republican... it no longer exists except as an extension of Bush's will.

Yet another overreach...

21. The number of dissatisfied Republicans will be growing daily
as reality settles even further from what THEY thought was the truth. That bodes well for the election.

It bodes ill for what * will do if he knows he is going down in flames.
