OH MY GOD, I can't believe Rush's last statement....
he just asked his Republican listeners,
Why they watched the Russert interview this weekend...

why watch it,
why bother,
it's not going to effect you vote......

Those on the right REVEL in their ignorance.....

just keep listening to Rush, and read the Standard,
that's all ya need....

The smart one's can get the Limbaugh letter, which will give them a more detailed write up of the beliefs they should have.

5. Sorry folks!
I CAN'T listen the Rush! I had enough damage to my mental health by listening to Shrub yesterday. (Curiosity made me watch!)

Has anyone heard how many of his listeners have turned him off since his drug exposure? Unless all of them are completely brain dead, I would think he's loat quite a few.

7. The Official Republican Talking Points
I heard O'Reilly saying more or less the same thing earlier today. It's obvious that this was the directive to the RW talk show hosts per Karl Rove's official daily talking points.

But what it REALLY signals is that the White House knows that Bush's performance on Meet the Press was just another in a long string of miserable failures.

9. Reich-wing radio is fascinating lately

They are all, of course, on the same page. That page being genericized talking points no doubt issued by KKKarl.

But the difference lately is that instead of trying to influence moderates or swing voters, all the reich-wing radio hosts like Flush and Innanity are desperately trying to hold the conservative base of the GOP. These are folks that don't like being lied to about Iraq, who trusted Chimpy to be a conservative and who hate the huge deficits and massive spending of the Chimpministration.

It's kind of fun to listen to the Reich-wing radio pundits scramble.

15. The Neo-cons have gotten quiet
I listen to Lynn Cullen, a local liberal talk radio host in Pittsburgh. She has never screened out right wing callers, because she is great at pointing out the huge gaping holes in their logic.

I've noticed a huge drop in the number of calls from the right wing. The few that have called are obviously stressed out because their whole belief system is crumbling. They were ranting and screaming to the point that they sounded completely incoherent.

11. Actually, Limbaugh has a point...
Those that listen to him, will vote GOP, regardless of what they hear.

bush could turn into Satan right before their eyes, and it would matter little. They vote by rote. I cannot tell you how many votes are made simply because of 'Right to Lifers'. Single issue voters.

The war means nothing to them; the deficit means nothing to them; the lying of the admin means nothing to them...all that matters, is that they involve themselves in someone else's decision about their bodies.

I used to bring up RU-486, dissolving the cells before they even became viable; makes no difference. Single issue morons will destroy this nation, while they gain nothing, they just don't care.

22. I had a thread about Pigboy, but it got locked.
I made the mistake of mentioning Pigboy's comments about you-know-who (the frontrunner) and the IWR vote when he was talking about how the Dems were on board with the WMD issue last year.

Pigboy wants the populace to be sceeered about national security since Shrub can't run on the economy. It doesn't surprise me that he wants the sheep (or lemmings, whatever) to fall into line.
