At tomorrows WH press briefing I hope the press goes after...

Palme's outing, Halliburton's bribes and overcharges, no WMD in Iraq, Pakistan giving nuke technology to N. Korea, Iran, Libya, Republican theft of private records from the offices of Democrats on the Hill, Cheney taking paid hunting trips with Scalia before hearing a case involving Cheney, and other high crimes and misdemeanors committed by the administration, with the same tenacity and vigor that they displayed today talking about AWOL.

2. They just put in 1st days work in 3 years and ..

now you want them to go out the VERY NEXT day and do another days work as a reporter?!

Sheesh, whatta slave-driver!

Besides, most of them will probably be fired by tomorrow anyway.

3. I thought it was like a drivers license
They can accumulate only so many "points" before they're fired (or Rove magics them away).
Asking a touchy question = 10 pts
Asking a question twice = 10 pts
Insulting the integrity of our president = 50 pts
Insulting the WH press secretary = 30 pts
and so on...

4. They seem to be like a pack of sharks circling the leaking boat
selling the blood in the water. They seem to be past the point of believing anything being said by McClellen. I'm waiting for Scott to go into a screaming hissy, picking up his talking points, and leaving the podium.

5. It'll be interesting to see where today's troublemakers are
seated tomorrow. I expect they won't be able to get a question in.

6. The most interesting thing I noticed
Is that once a few of them started asking serious questions, more of them got the guts to actually do their jobs. It was fascinating to watch. It was like they were drawing off of one another.

7. AWOL - sign in sheets to justify pay Must be in Archive - Press should
chase these.

Indeed, the idiots put down as a drill attending date the same day his evaluation form was signed - the form that said he could not be evaluated because they had not seen him for a year.

This story has legs.
