Where is this all headed? We can't trust the ballot box...
...that was proven in 2000 http://www.gregpalast.com/detail.cfm?artid=33&row=2 and the situation deteriorates daily here in Florida http://www.palmbeachpost.com/politics/content/auto/epaper/editions/thu... ; We can't trust the Supreme Court, once again proven in 2000 as well as the recent duck hunt, "Quack Quack" http://www.palmbeachpost.com/opinion/content/auto/epaper/editions/satu... ; We can't trust that our local elected officials will honor the Bill of Rights http://www.heraldtribune.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20040212/COLUM... as seen all over the country lately; The Media is a wholly owned subsidiary of Corporatist Amerika and will continue to monopolize http://www.kansascity.com/mld/kansascity/business/7929554.htm ; Few have the answer http://www.progressive.org/feb04/sand0204.html , or the stomach, to tackle the WTO/GATT/NAFTA/FTAA "Race to The Bottom", that will ultimately leave the US a high-crime, devastated Middle Class Banana Republic...hardly worth living in except for the people in top 2-5% of Income/Wealth.

I hate to say this but I'm starting to think that T. Jefferson may have been right about that 20 year "purging" http://www.theatlantic.com/issues/96oct/obrien/blood.htm of the system.

So where is this all heading? Is it just a nasty "Blip" that'll get balaced out by the omnipotent "System"? Or is it perhaps the beginning of some real systemic economic/political change that may go nicely or not so nicely...

after all is said and done between now and the election, if held, Diebold will have the last say instead of the Supreme Court

:scared:

"That estimate comes from biologists who have studied what happens to every species when it exceeds the carrying capacity of its environment in one life giving aspect or another."

4. I think that the eventual Dem candidate can win by a significant...
...margin this year, that said it doesn't really address the macro issues that Bush has little to do with.

I don't buy the "Too Close to Call" at all. Bush IS a miserable failure as both a pResident and a Human Being, millions of people will see that.
