I just saw the interview with Saddams daughter's

After all they went through it seems like they were very sincere in their love for their father as a "father" and have seen many pictures of Saddam with his family. I don't recall seeing or hearing anthing from the "twins" that remotely come close to the sincereity that these two women just displayed towards their father.

They were married (arranged marriages) at age 15 and have 9 children between them. These are the two daughters whose husbands were supposedly killed by their father. They wouldn't talk about that or about how they felt about their brothers' deaths (though they were dressed in mourning for them).

I thought they sounded sincere and dignified. Probably they don't know all there is to know about politics in Iraq and what their father did. And they llved luxurious lives in the palaces, which also cut them off from the lives of ordinary Iraqis. (I did wonder how much money they brought out with them...)

I don't know what to think, but I'm glad they're safe in Jordan. I don't think they were safe in Iraq--even if they are women and children.
