The Patriot missile can't tell a plane from a missile. So we have killed a number of our own pilots since Desert Storm. The true record for the Patriot hits during Desert Storm was 3 out of 44. (Still think flying is safe?)

South American "booster rings" can heist hundreds of thousands of dollars of merchandise and escape. Plus, most of them are here illegally yet they can fly around the country with no problems. Does this even raise an eyebrow about our so-called "National Security?" If we can round up hundreds of (probably innocent) Muslims on the notion that they are some kind of terrorist threat, why can't we stop this "boosting?" (Oh, I forgot, we are too busy keeping our eyes on the native-born African-Americans among us...who in reality stay pretty much in their own neighborhoods and bother no one except each other.)

I am convinced that the only reason that there have been no new terrorist attacks is because the real "terrorists" haven't attempted any. They gave it their best shot on 9/11 which was years in the making and when they decide to something again, we won't even be able to stop it. Right now, they are busy picking off American soldiers in Iraq as they plan their next gigantic act of terror. And this is all brought to you by the Bush band...George H and George W.

Bush can't loose on this issue. As long as he keeps fear alive he can continue to manipulate Americans. If we have an attack; all the more reason to keep his violent, hair trigger bigoted ass in the Oval Office. No attacks and he can boast the 'wounderful' job he's doing 'keeping Amerikuh safe fron being held hostile'.

You need multiple events for a trend to be established. We have had one significant terrorist attack actually get through in the last 5 years. This in not a trend. This is simply an attack that got through. The bigger question is what happened to allow this anamoly to occurr.

Instead we are sold that we must stop this terrorist threat. There is an old joke. A man is standing on a busy street corner tearing newspapers up and throwing them into the air. A passerby asks him what he is doing. The man responds I am keeping the elephants away. The passerby says, "But there aren't any elephants around here." To which the man replies, "See it works".

But bush needs to keep us afraid...only he can protect us.

6;30 in the morning my local airport 41 year old with two little ones and husband off to florida. and i say this is a bunch of crap as once again i am the one arms out for a random search. now i am detained and a cop comes over and stands in front. then other airport employee comes back with head dude, and gets in my face, and stands there. what i say. you have a problem, yes this is a bunch of crap. and he stands there in my face, nothing, you done with me i ask, and he stepped aside

then they hold my 5 and 8 year old behind a table and search their bags with a cop next to the searcher. why i say, is the cop here, she says, so i protect this woman from you. me i say............passive me, make us into animals and that is what we will become. told 5 year old, see how fearful all these big people are of you, isnt that the silliest, as the boys eyes are huge.......

so they kept the world safe using intimidation and there was a time i knew if i said too much they could throw me on the ground knee in back and at least have us miss plane if not jail me

my husband owns a puter business. he went to this same airport with all his puter stufff. i say, security rough, no he says. no i exclaim, well i had a special pass he says.

they at least checked you and stuff out...........no

they do security check on you and business, ............no

i could only go to three levels, and not near airplanes, (like that would stop someone that wanted to do harm)

did they send a security guy with you to keep eye on you.........no

damn good thing we have such tough dudes that dont have a problem trying to intimidate a 41 year old woman..... are we all feeling safer now.
