Army Comanche is dead....
In his infinite wisdom, Rumsfeld is cancelling a program that is being fielded right as we speak. Aircraft #'s 3 and 4 are on the assembly line, but it looks as if they will not be completed. My sources say that 4000 employees (contractors and employees alike) are on the chopping block.

Sources confirm the Boeing Sikorsky Comanche project is at an end.

Details were sparse, but an announcement is expected Monday.

As the weekend began, a round of rumours about Comanche’s impending cancellation began to sweep the Army aviation community.

1. I Think Those Lost Jobs are in Connecticut
which Bush won't win anyway. Somehow if the factory were in Texas, I think the program would be full steam ahead.
