Would anyone here seriously consider enlisting or re-upping ?
I've been trying to find part-time help and have hit a brick wall.
millions of people are out of work in America and I can't find part-time help!

Several people have interviewed for the position and then backed off when it sunk in that no benefits come with the position. (not my choice)I don't blame them one bit, but that doesn't help my position at all.

Three people interviewed have re-enlisted in the military because there are no full-time positions with benefits and they have families to support.

This is how Bush will get the people needed for on-going military invasions....keep the economy in the tank and force americans to enlist just to survive(bad choice of words).

1. Depends on your age
The military only takes those 30 and younger.

4. Unless you're a nurse, etc
someone with special skills they need. The AF would have let me in at age 38 if I had wanted to go that route, but I opted to start a family instead.

2. the gops love a bad economy except for the political repercussions ...
It creates "buying opportunities" for the wealthy, makes everyone jittery about their jobs so they take more CRAP from their employers, and it allows new hires to be paid even less.

If they could just do something about those unhappy poor folk getting to express their outrage at the polling booth ...

3. Keep trying
you'll find someone who is already covered by spouse's insurance, hopefully.

Yep, I think it may be possible that keeping the military tanked helps enlistment. My understanding is that when the economy is on an upswing, military recruitment suffers.

Good luck.
