Using the form at the above link, just fill in your name and address and click the button and your state's Secretary of State will get an email that you're against paperless voting.

1. Lots of luck with Minnesota's SOS, Eric.
If Kiffmeyer had her way, she'd do away with our election day registration...Makes it so hard to knock people off the voting lists, doncha know.

Yes, if the MN Secretary of State had her way, she could purge us, and we would be unable to vote.

They have praised our SoS here in Washington. They helped get legislation killed that would have had the gurantees we needed in it. I talked to True Majority, Bev talked to true Majority. I cannot endorse them.

Additionally they call it a "paper trail". I demand a Ballot. Nothing more nothing less.

6. True Majority...
...wasn't against any legislation that I know of. But they wouldn't correct their information. In Washington State it wasn't until mere hours BEFORE the Harris/Stephenson press conference about felon involvement in our elections, that Sam Reed relented and went for a paper ballot, while also suggesting they would leave a path open for "New technology."

Keep in mind that citizens in Washington State had been asking for 8 straight months before that for a voter verified paper ballot and were ignored. Resolutions sent to the Secretary of State were met with the drival from The Election Center.

The fight is still on because the current legislation only requires a paper ballot of poll site based electronic voting devices. See how specific that is? What that means is that Reed has a wide open path to institute Internet voting, which is what he's said he's wanted all along. Now we have a bill morphed to also including ways to integrate alternative verification- read, electronic verification.

So Reed claims to be on the voter verified paper ballot side, but the legislation is written to make it very, very weak and leave doors open for his pet favorites.

I asked True Majority to take Washington off that list too, but no luck.

You just cannot believe the PR. You have to read the fine print to know if you're getting the real deal or not.
