US troops 'made Aristide leave'

HAITIAN leader Jean Bertrand Aristide was taken away from his home by US soldiers, it was claimed today.

A man who said he was a caretaker for the now exiled president told France's RTL radio station the troops forced Aristide out.

"The American army came to take him away at two in the morning," the man said.

"The Americans forced him out with weapons.

"It was American soldiers. They came with a helicopter and they took the security guards.

"(Aristide) was not happy. He did not want to be taken away. He did not want to leave. He was not able to fight against the Americans."

The RTL journalist who carried out the interview described the man as a "frightened old man, crouched in a corner" who said he was the "caretaker of the residence".

If you read the following you will see why Bush had to get rid of Aristide. His vision for the future of Haiti was too far to the left for Bush's liking. What is the Political Backdrop to the Conflict? The crisis dates back to a political stalemate stemming from a contested election. In 2000-the same year that George Bush stole the US presidency-Haiti held elections for 7,500 positions nationwide. Election observers contested the winners of seven senate seats.

President Aristide balked at first, but eventually yielded and the seven senators resigned. Members of Haiti's elite, long hostile to Aristide's progressive economic agenda, saw the controversy as an opportunity to derail his government.

Since 2001, human rights activists and humanitarian workers in Haiti have documented numerous cases of opposition vigilantes killing government officials and bystanders in attacks on the state power station, health clinics, police stations and government vehicles. The US government did not condemn any of these killings.

In January 2004, the opposition escalated its protests. At some demonstrations, government supporters, who represent Haiti's poorest sectors, attacked opposition activists. Only then did US Secretary of State Powell issue a one-sided condemnation of 'militant Aristide supporters.'

The risk to Aristide's life was from the forces the Bush cabal encouraged. What is so desirable about the terrorist Rebels as opposed to Aristide? What makes them better? They were shooting into hospitals yesterday. They are nothing but a band of thugs.

one thing is for sure. If we DID take him out of his home and put him on a helicopter, we sure as hell saved him from a fate worse than death. Those rebels were coming and NOTHING was going to stop them.

The Bush cabal created the crisis in order to force Aristide out. This is just another Clinton legacy that the Bush league engineered into a crisis that they could exploit and reverse. This same cabal resisted Clinton's repatriation of Aristide and stood behind the corrupt Gen. Cedras and his murderous Police Chief, Lieut. Col. Michel Francois.

These Rebels were shooting into hospitals yesterday. Who does the Bush cabal intend to replace Aristide? If they can defend the usurpers they could have just as well defended Aristide. You don't overthrow a government just because you don't like the management.

As for proof, open your eyes and ears to Aristide's supporters and their reports and close your mind to the lying Bush cabal.

Why don't you tell me-- I'm willing to listen and learn before I come to a conclusion.

Haiti has gone through 33 coups since it's creation 200 years ago. There are weapons everywhere and arms dealers regularly ply their trade there. Can I be convinced that the Bush administration is practicing a new "lend-lease" program with the rebels? Sure-- so long as you provide the evidence.

As far as us kidnapping JBA-- well that's a pretty serious charge and a crime if true. My best solution is to immediately return him to the palace and pretend it never happened.

His history of interventionist black ops in central America would indicate a similar modus operandi here.
