MOVEON.ORG coming to the Democrats rescue again.

Friends I cannot express how important Moveon.org is to our party. These people are about to do a huge favor for the Democrats. Starting Thursday they will be running ads in 17 states that Bush is running ads in, to counter his bullshit lies his ads will spew. This will help us out bigtime, because our candidates can't afford to run ads right now. If you have any extra money you can donate, please do at the links below. It's only enough to buy and quarter-second of airtime in a major market, but what the hell. It's something.

Screw the DNC -- they are not getting a dime from me, nor if I know DUers will they be getting anything from the rest of you.

MoveOn, however, has had my attention and participation since they started out as Censure and Move On. I don't do blogs and whatnot, but I do write letters from my computer at home, so MoveOn works for me. They are intelligent, gutsy, articulate, innovative, and I feel my participation counts.

I don't think they asked for money (or maybe I just missed it) until after Chimpy was selected, but in the past two years I have sent them small checks from time to time for advertising, to help out the Texas Runaway Democrats, and so forth.

So, I figure that by supporting MoveOn, I'm supporting real democracy, if not the Democratic Party.

NV is in play this year and Moveon has been bombing us with adds. you folks in soild Blue or deep red may not be getting all this but i see 3 or 4 Moveon adds a week and have been since early january. Im talking braodcast tv from prime time to late night. i dont have cable so i can't speak to that.

Not nitpicking, but correct name is important. Yes, we do have a great organization in moveon. I have been doing their bidding for a considerable amount of time now, and never regret it.

I believe that they will be spending some of the money that George Soros donated for those ads, but more money is always needed. They do great things with it, so, those who can, send them some dough.

now. Unless you want to lose the constitution. Its only the future of the country which is at stake. If bush wins, what will you do with that money?

Please work on running "WHAT ARE WE TEACHING OUR CHILDREN?" I think this is the most effective one in the arsenal because it obliterates the "family values" BS.

where the hell are they? Thank God for moveon.org. And I agree that "What Are We Teaching Our Children" was THE best ad in that contest and should be run during the campaign. Will definitely donate.
