Exported jobs....

I just got a dose of it. I called my cc company and talked to someone who could barely speak English who was in India. I had to repeat and repeat and repeat. It was frustrating...

Who saves money on this? They sure as heck don't lower my interest rate. I'm gonne get 'em back by not using the darn thing -- unless it's a car emergency or something.

Vent complete.

1. You should call them more often...

and make them repeat and repeat and repeat to the point that their 800 bill is so high, they'll come crying back home, begging the prison inmates who usually handle the call centers to work for them again.

I kid you not, my boyfriend's company outsources jobs to India where people are given names like "MICHAEL" and "SUE" and taught classes where they try to lose any trace of an accent for customer service work. So you call and you think you're speaking to an American but it's actually some poor schmuck in India making a buck an hour.

8. They should keep their accents...

Many years ago; some 30 years ago, me and some friends of mine went to see Louis Malle's documentary (a most amazing documentary regarding: India, in West L.A. when we were kids. We all want the best for India, of this there can be no doubt). It was a 5 day nearly 24hr affair. India is one of the truly amazing nations on this earth. They need help as well...India! But there should be no pretense to what the re-publicans are doing with their policies. They are stank and they know it. Their policies will never hold up in the truth of the sunlight where America is supposed to reside ~
