So I've been thinking about our chances with the House and Senate races
Given the level of anger I saw directed at the Bush and Pawlenty administrations at the caucuses last Tuesday, I'm starting to wonder if there isn't a chance we might see a Watergate like purge of the House and Senate (maybe even the Minnesota State House!). Back during Watergate, I think people were more disgusted than angry with Republicans.. I believe we have room to hope we can take back Congress as well as the White House.

1. Everbody likes their own Congressman
It's the other ones that are bad.

When will people in the Twin Cities area hear about Democratic challengers to Republican incumbents?

3. Door knocking and mailings
we can't depend on the suburbian newspapers and we make Pawlenty's budget cuts an issue. There are a lot of people hurt by them and the people who have been hurt the worse also tend to belong to the demographic that don't vote. They have to be made to see that the DFL taking back the house and the getting a larger majority in the senate will make a difference. Provided, of course, that the Democrats running are willing to talk like Democrats and not Pawlenty lite.
