Hey, what ever happened to Tom Daschle?

You used to see him everywhere, heard him quoted everywhere.

Is it because Kerry is now the assumed head of the Party that the media never ask Tom anymore? Is he busy running his re-election campaign?

Tom's criticism of Dumbo--if you can call it that--was always very muted--and I can't say I'm disappointed that he isn't as vocal anymore.

Just wondering since it suddenly struck me that he disappeared.

4. Nope. There's only a puddle left on the Senate floor.

It's a rare occurrence, spontaneous human self-destruction, but it does seem to afflict craven, Bush-enabling Democrats more than most.

I wonder if ol' Tommy's fearing for his job, along with Terry McAuliffe. Once Kerry's the de-facto head of the party, I doubt Daschle will remain Senate Minority Leader.

...could have been any number of Dems who tried to speak and were batted down quickly by the ruling Nazi Party, and they well, you know....

so that he/she can afford to say whatever is necessary without compromising re-election chances.

Dick Durbin could be pretty good, off the top of my head.
