9/11 and Wellstone death at DU

I went looking through the archives to see how DU handled those events. It's interesting. There were not a lot of posts compared to now for those events. I don't think I saw any threads go over 50 posts. There are some long timers there like IndianaGreen, Kphera, and Will Pitt. There are also some noteable ex-members and ex mods who didn't survive primary season. Of course, some of our tinfoil hatters from now were tinfoil hatters then. Very interesting. I think the stark difference is the amount of coverage and the variety of content now vs. then. I have seen posts go over 100 in 40 minutes here. Back them, I don't see a single one. Anyway, check out the blast from the past.
