My letter from Al Gore today!
I recieved a letter from the big guy himself. I asked him to write me for inspiration and he did. He replied to nearly every part of my letter to him:

4. Gore will make a comeback
I see Gore taking the presidency in 2012 or 2016. His last ace hasn't been played by a long shot.

7. Al is a nice guy... and I would be happy to see him after Bush again!
The women who first took up the reigns for Dennis here in MN has a great story kind of similar...

When she jumped off the bus at the Washington DC protest (all the way from MN!) a man came up to her and asked her if she would like to learn about a department of peace. The took the literature he was handing it out and did not get to looking at it until she came home.

She became increasing interested in the Dennis Kucinich and began to research him. She looked at the good site, the bad sites (she swears the only way to research a candidate is to take in all the negatives too), and the Draft sites.

When she heard that he had formed an exploratory committee she became ecstatic. She watched him on Crossfire and he knocked her sox off. She was so motivated that she wrote up leaflets and put them in each of neighbor of hers who had a peace signs mail boxes. She told them to catch him on meet the press.

She thought he sucked horribly on the meet the press and in such a fury she called the national office and gave 'em hell. She interrupted a meeting and women said they had Dennis on the other line and they had to go. She asked in the campaign could call her back, and she (the caller) gave them her number.

The next 3 nights she got back from work there was a message on her answering machine from Dennis saying that he wanted to talk to her. She called the campaign and told them to get it to Dennis to call her after 10.

So the next day she walks in the room and the phone rings immediately. She runs to pick it up and low and behold its Dennis. They talk for about an hour and she was blown away. Overtime she'd say something negative about him, or anyone he'd counter with something positive. She hung up the fun and decided to fulfill the promise she mad to herself when Paul Wellstones plane went down.... If ever again a candidate inspired her as much as Paul, she would give everything to get him back.

And I will testify this women has given her all!

(wow sorry about that! I just started writing and it all spilled out... that could be its own topic! I don't mean to steal away from the Gore thread, lemme know if you want me to delete it!)

Al Gore's a real good guy. Did you ever see the animated show, Futurama? Gore was a guest star on an episode and was hillarious too.

5. Such a shame.
Stuff like this gets me all teary about losing such an opportunity. He'd make a great president; thank goodness he's still such a young man.

9. We are very deprived
It's a shame that he is not in the office he was elected to. The fact that this letter shows how this man's mind works compared to the bozo :silly: who stole the election makes me sad that he isn't our leader now.

Thanks for sharing!
