Shattered sacred glass replaced at Clearwater church

Workers are replacing vandalized windows at the Shepherds of Christ building in Clearwater.

The new glass will replace three shattered panes that helped make an image that many say is the Virgin Mary.

But instead of using mirrored glass, like the rest of the building, the new panes are clear.

Church official Rosie Reed says that God told church leaders to use the clear glass.

2. I have seen that church

since I have friends in Clearwater. I frankly did not see the resemblance, it just looked like a big blob to me. Too bad about the vandalism though.

3. I never even knew it was a church..

I had thought the building was just another steel and glass obscentity on the godforsaken US 19 snakepit corridor. If God really was offering home improvement tips, as the church leaders suggest, It would say "For My sake, this franchised strip mall of a plastic city doth surely offend mine eye: get thee some rational zoning or prepare for some gnarly locusts!"

All I saw was a stain too.
