Ferrall, ATL Clear Channel personality, bashes Bush!

For anyone who's in Atlanta or listens to Real Audio on the Internet, Scott Ferrall of Real Radio 105.3 in ATlanta has turned on Bush! He was semi-for him before, but due to this FCC stuff, like a lot of other radio personalities, he's disillusioned with Bushco. Here's an excerpted paraphrase of March first's Scott Ferrall's statements:

"The first amdendment is gone. Free speech is over because George Bush, Jr. re-wrote the Constitution in less than a week. He's a rogue president, no different than Adolph Hitler. Here's to George Bush -- workin' my knob!" This is on a Clear Channel station no less!

5. IT depends on how Ideological Clear Channel is

My take on them was that they were unscrupulus jerks, but not overy principled. They know they are taking flack on the Howard Stern thing, perhaps they'll let this guy alone to show how "fair-minded" they are.

But then again they might crush him like a grape.

but he doesn't care. Ferrall has been at stations all over the country and never stays anywhere long. This same day he was telling management the station's morning show blew and he refused to promote it anymore. "I wouldn't listen to those guys, why should I tell you to?" He said he didn't want bosses calling him at home, "Why should I pretend to be your buddy?" Then the Bush stuff. It may be short-lived, but I'm lovin' this guy! I'll keep an ear on what happens.

4. Ferrall is cool.

Used to do late-night sports on WFAN here in NYC. But he was too hip for the stodgy sports station and they canned him.

From what i heard, people were actually offended by his format, which was closer to Stern than ESPN. Too bad, he was a funny dude.
