3. Flynt is one sick sob . . .
praying for anyone's death is abominable, even if in jest . . . besides, losing O'Reilly wouldn't really accomplish much . . . plenty more to take his place . . .

4. I agree
Doesn't matter if he's the biggest asshole on the planet- wishing death upon him is too good for him and is simply uncalled for. It's sinking to Fat Pat's level.

5. this makes us look bad too
If he had just taken "right wing" out of the ad, it wouldn't have looked like a politically motivated attack...but a personal one...still very tasteless though. I'm afraid O'reilly and all the talk radio freaks will be blasting news of this over the airwaves next week, painting the democrats as hateful partisans who want their opponents dead.

8. No, I can't believe they would do that!
Sounds like every other day when the right wing talk radio freaks paint the democrats as hateful partisans who want their opponents dead.

6. Replace Bill O'Reilly with
anyone from the Light Side and who would notice? That would be just business as usuall from the Dark Side.

9. Sick!
With friends like you, who needs enemies? You only feed their fire.

I resent you besmirching my birthday, Aug 5, with this sicko gag. I have little respect for Bill O>Reilly, or anyone else, resorting to this level of humor.

Give yourself a 60-minute time out, sit in chair and think about your own sense of humanity.

Boo!!!!!!!

10. I would rather that O'Reilly stays
nice and healthy long enough to have to live under a Democratic President and Democratic controlled House and Senate. At that time he will wish he was dead because he will be in his version of hell.

17. I was worried everyone here had lost their sense of humor
Flynt is making fun of the stupidity of right wingers and instead of seeing the humor, many people here attack Flynt.

Larry Flynt fights fire with fire, and with mean humor.

If you've seen the movie The People Vs. Larry Flynt, one of the Supreme Court cases in that movie is about a Flynt parody advertisment where Jerry Falwell admits to being a drunk and having sex with his own mom.

19. Only Republicans have a sense of humor?
Larry Flynt has been fighting the right wingers since before most of us were born. How many times have you been shot, jailed, or spent your hard earned money fighting all the way to the supreme court to defend the constitution?

20. I don't think it gives anyone bad karma to laugh at satire
Larry Flynt and Hustler magazine have published some pretty thought-provoking posters in their 29 years.

I remember the re-publication of cigarette ads featuring john Wayne.

An anti-smoking ad featuring a sample of lung tissue from a smoker and a non-smoker appeared.

My favorite was the one of a crying policeman in uniform holding an injured (or dead) child at the camera . The caption read: "Some still call him pig."

Larry Flynt is one smut maker with integrity. Compare his life's struggle to that of lifestyle sellout Hugh Hefner. No one ever shot Hefner in the groin for HIS beliefs. Maybe someone will.

As for me, I think the poster is hysterically funny. I'm putting it up at work tomorrow.

Thanks Democat!
