U.S. deaths reach 249

U.S. deaths reach 249

As of Saturday, 249 U.S. soldiers have died since the beginning of military operations in Iraq, according to military officials.

The British government has reported 43 deaths.

On or since May 1, when President Bush declared that major combat operations in Iraq had ended, 113 U.S. soldiers have died in Iraq, according to military figures.

The latest deaths reported by the U.S. military:

A soldier was killed Friday in a rocket-propelled grenade attack on a convoy east of Baghdad.
There were no identifications released by the Defense Department on Saturday.

3. where can I find daily casualty lists?

Armytimes posts casualty lists but they always seem to be about a week behind. I've been keeping an updated list of all casualties and cause of deaths.

I'd like to be able to keep this current. Does anyone know of a consistent source for daily incomings?

4. How about the # of Iraqi deaths?

Bush wanted this invasion for glory and for his daddy.

Bush wants our soldiers to die for him.

Bush won't give them just due benefits afterward as he's taking away the bennies from vets of other wars.

How many TOTAL have died for the sake of a personal vendetta, eh?

Count it all up and it makes George the King of all Terrorists.
