Will there be another Republican guest on the Daily Show tonight?
Edited on Wed Mar-10-04 09:08 PM by Woodstock
It seems like every other night there is a Republican politician or author on the Daily Show. The nights they aren't on, there is a movie star guest. True, most of the movie stars are Dems, but only rarely does the movie star talk politics. Is The Daily Show is turning into an RNC propaganda outlet? Is the DNC so lame they can't line up some guests, too? Or is The Daily Show under some kind of Clear Channel-esque pressure from above?

1. I have been wondering the same thing.
Seems like something is amiss.

2. And I forgot to mention the nightly Halliburton commercial
They are so cheesy, it's funny (kind of a continuation of the show) but still...

5. Yeah, but you have to watch Jon when they are responding
He'll do things like slowly start turning his head toward the camera with a "can you believe this horseshit?" look on his face.

He's making fun of them, but in a nice enough way that they keep coming back ("We're winning over The Daily Show demographic!!!").

Meanwhile, the audience hoots and guffaws whenever they say something obviously misleading. Plenty o' opportunities for them, too!
