O'Reilly sees no evidence Ashcroft is finishing off our civil liberties
Just saw it on his show (yes I AM very bored thank you).

And with the magic of Tivo, let me give you the script:

O'REIILY: Fine time for mail, plenty of it on my "Talking Points" saying I made a mistake about John Ashcroft, I didn't think he was the man for the job in the beginning but now I think he's doing a good job.

(he then reads a letter from a woman in CO)

"O'Reilly you made a mistake correcting your mistake. Ashcroft may be effective in some areas but his goal is finishing off the civil rights and liberties."

O'REILLY: Well, I've seen no evidence of that, Suzanne, if I do, you'll be the first to know.

Okay, when is someone going to clue this guy in? Or rather, when is he going to start paying attention? THE PATRIOT ACTs I and II?! What do you call that, O'Reilly? HMM?

1. O'Reilly is a drone.
He'll continue to follow the party line, ignore the obvious, and threaten Al Franken.

6. another faux prophet
:argh:

all third world state run media are more decent as compared to
media here. They avoid proselytizing, they stick to the
government discourse usually in mono cord voice because of the
lack of conviction and because they feel embarrased . News are
mostly about economic, (of course things are always either
going well or being taken care) but the bulk of the news is
about international events. that why people in other countries
are aware of all what is going on around the world.

7. Do you really think that he wants to be "clued?"
He and his followers and all the dittoheads do not want to think, do not want to question. They are happy in their ignorance, in just nodding their heads and saying, what, ditto?

8. O'Reilly : "Reality has liberal bias"
When so many things in the real world differentiate from the party line, there's only one excuse. Reality is biased.

11. speaking of O'Reilly...
Is he still obsessed with Hillary Clinton's book? The last few times I watch his show (and I try to avoid it, but sometimes can't help sneaking a peak just to get mad) he never missed a chance to compare sales of his book to Hillary's. And when hers held the lead (which it always did) he would make excuses for it. Is he still doing that?
