we get terror threats on THE DAY he begins his 'working' vacation?
Edited on Sun Aug-03-03 10:42 AM by mopaul

on the very day we receive another terror threat from mullah what's his name, mr. physically fit begins his much needed vacation. is this a good time to take vacation asshole? can we say the word vacation without cramming the word working in front of it?

what is really going on is shit for brains is being re-programmed. i hope like hell recent history doesn't repeat itself. the last time w took a month long working vacation, 3000 new yorkers were burned and crushed to death. he might have mentioned to us that he knew it was going to happen, but it apparently didn't seem important enough.

and why the fuck are we not on candy apple red alert now? we get credible threats from a so called al quada operative, tom ridge is on the propaganda machine saying, 'be prepared, stay alert, relax'.
there is a serious disconnect with reality under bushco. up is down, in is out, yes is no. war is peace.

if i were the president, (god forbid), if my country was just threatened with a terror attack and osama was still out there on the loose, i might momentarily consider re-scheduling my fucking vacation.

heads up people

1. No, no! It's safe to fly! Ashcroft's flying commercial!
I've been waiting for that prick to say he was back on regular flights. He told America that he and his entire family are flying commercial this August. As if they always had. As if he didn't save his own ass while leaving the rest of us to take our chances before 9/11.

My mom just hopes he dies on a plane. I say then we wouldn't get to watch and she agrees that's a drawback.

There are some medieval devices forbidden by our constitution that would be perfect for Ashcroft. I'm pretty sure he's sorry he can't use them on us. And I'm damned sorry I can't use them on him.

2. CNN the cheerleader had this to say about W's vacation
He does a lot of loafing. He is open about that, it actually helps him because people perceive him to be a regular guy.

He does 100-degree runs. He runs three miles every day in 100-degree temperatures.

That's one of the things that makes him such a great president (I kid you not, she said this!). That just shows how tough he is.

Then they went on to say that al Qaeda has declared war against the U.S. No, they explained, they cannot source that report but actually, they explained, that doesn't matter because we knew that al Qaeda was against us, and this just shows that (cliche please) everything changed on 9/11 and we have to be vigilant.

Thank goodness, CNN said, our president set up a special dedicated division for this, the Department of Homeland Security (implication: your father is watching out for you)

Gag. Blech. Turned off the propaganda at that point. They should be tarred and feathered, and by that I mean the CNN "news" people who allowed that segment to be run.

4. Define "working vacation"
Working limited to five fund raisers, vacation is
golf, etc. In other words, don't bother me for a
month with economy, unemployment, deficit, terrorism,
etc.etc.

5. Don't be so hard on him....
Do you think he wanted to be President?

He was drafted. They wanted someone they could dictate to and who would carry the message. It stands to reason that they want us to be ignorant and agreeable so they brought in an ignorant back slapper that we could relate to.

He kicked and screamed knowing how much he loved his video games, running, and raking sage - so they promised him a month off and a per cent of the gross.

He's just getting his due so why be so hard on him?

6. your words have big medicine
it's crystal clear, you've described what is obvious, even though millions don't see through it. he hates being president more than any other president in history.

8. Who was in charge on 9/11?
He was there on that day and he really took charge didn't he?
Our fearful leader charging off to inspect some more of the country. At least he made sure the kiddies didn't get alarmed...have to give him credit for that...but that's about all the credit this lender gives.
