Wracking my brain here, and I need your help....
Does anyone remember the name of the company Wesley Clark was (is?) CEO of that has that "turbobike" in use by the military and police? It was supposed to be available to the public sometime this year or next year (?) and the company is also working on a pollution-free car. I lost all my bookmarks last month when my computer crashed and now I can't find the site again. I've googled to no avail so far.... :(

Help, please?

1. Nevermind...
I found it!

For anyone who's as fanatical about inovative, pollution-free transportation as I am, here it is:

3. My pleasure.
The product line is still a bit pricey, but if you take into consideration the new technology and the current/future price and availability of fuel, it's really very competitive.

4. I already drive a Prius and love it. The cars Clark was interested in look
like they will be even better, plus they are working on other transportation being electric.

Hard to do my bit for fresh air though when I know Bush is making it easier to pollute. :(

6. I don't even want a car.
However, because of my daughter, we have to have one right now. But as soon as she's off on her own, I will once again be relying on feet and public transportation for the most part.

I just can't decide what I want to plan on for intermediate transportation - an electric bike or a Segway - or if I should hold off for something like WaveCrest's electric car when it comes out. I'm worried about theft with an expensive electric bike or a Segway. Will a mere kryptonite lock be adequate to protect it if I'm in a store for half an hour or so? The ease of portability of these machines would, I'm sure, also make them attractive targets for the unscrupulous.

7. I really don't know.
I am not and never was a Clark fan, but I AM avidly interested in clean energy technology. What his other interests and holdings are, I have no idea.

8. You think that's good, try this one:
http://www.theaircar.com

A 110kph car with a 300km range that runs on compressed air and can be recharged in less than 3 minutes.

20,000 of these were scheduled to replace the decrepit VW Beetles that serve as taxis in Mexico City, but they got pre-empted by VW who practically gave away vehicles to retain the market.

This vehicle could go into production TOMORROW, but hey, who wants a car that runs on AIR, whose exhaust is so clean that it is piped into the car (60 Degrees F) to air condition the thing, that you can get a compressor for your home that runs on a solar panel, and it takes one oil change every 50,000km of SOYBEAN COOKING OIL?

Yeah. Who needs it?

11. OH YEAH. I forgot to add:
And it would retail for $8K to $10K depending on the model.

Yep. Nobody needs this thing.

13. I've been waiting 2 years now to buy one.
This is the kind of thing I'd invest heavily in if I won the lottery.
