1. Heck, when you are making millions a year spewing his crap
Why would he bother caring about the truth?

2. how about some context for those of us who don't watch Fox?
They have a machine to tell when you are thinking. It's called a "television" and if it's turned off, you are guilty.

9. He is the guy on Fox, but this is about his radio show
Check your local AM Wingnut stations, he's bound to be on there somewhere.

3. Did he ever have it to begin with?
Poor Sean has lost all contact with reality.....

I don't think that Sean has ever been truly acquainted with "reality" in his life.

5. Either that, too, is a lie or Hannity is as insane as Julius Striecher
who also believed (or SAID he believed) what he was saying.

And there is not an inch of daylight between Streicher and Hannity except Hannity's propaganda isn't as violent or as overtly racist.

7. Liberal caller tearing him up, and all InHannity
could come up with is "you're so angry". Totally laughable. Like we don't have good damn reason to be angry.

13. A concrete example.
I made the GHASTLY error of looking at the index in a Sean Hannity book with the subtitle "Winning the War of Liberty over Liberalism" (I forget the first half of the title). At any rate, I checked the reference to Iran-contra and turned to the page in question.

Well, the section began with Hannity's claim that Iran-contra involved liberals trying to destroy the reputation of Oliver North.

What a lie, on so many levels. The investigation was about extremely disturbing covert actions that were, in a word, ILLEGAL. We are still facing the long-term consequences of said covert actions.

Moreover, senators of both parties and varying political leanings were concerned about what was going on.

And as for Oliver North, his conviction was thrown out not because he was an innocent man but because it was determined that certain testimony couldn't be used.

It's insanely irresponsible for someone like Hannity to be ensconced in a studio somewhere (and at a book-signing table somewhere) basically lying his head off about American history, foreign policy, and reality in general. The fact that somebody is going to believe his drivel makes it even worse.

When, O when, will America wake up to the fact that a bunch of lazy guys are getting paid great sums of money to sit on their fat rear ends and spout ignorant or mendacious claims, foment racism, and encourage people to embrace ignorance? They're demagogues, period, and deserve to be treated as such.
