a question about NASDAQ futures
I have noticed that NASDAQ futures three months out have consistently been lower than daily closings. For example, June NASDAQ futures are trading around 1400, well below todays close of 1964.

Are NASDAQ futures related to the NASDAQ index that is quoted every day? (that's what I always thought). If it is, has the NASDAQ futures market been signaling another big drop for quite a while?

Thanks to anyone who can clear this up for me.

2. The strange thing is the big gap
The DOW and S&P future markets trade pretty close to todays closing.

But the NASDAQ is way way off its futures price.

3. Naz 100
You might be confusing the Nasdaq Composite with the Nasdaq 100. The 100 closed at 1402.2 today.

5. The NASDAQ futures...
are NASDAQ 100 futures, not NASDAQ Composite futures.

The NASDAQ 100 index closed at 1402.20 today.
